about

This was one of the first songs we wrote when we reformed the band and my personal fave. Everybody has that someone special that when life kicks you in the nuts, they cradle your boys and make everything better

lyrics

Another day dawns cold and grey
But I can't face another day
Can't take another one of these
Not like the last one, not again
Been over worked and underpaid
Another slave for a shitty wage
Taken for granted I've been used up
And abused here day by day

And autumn leaves litter the ground
I hear them crumple as I walk these empty streets
And when I think I'm going down
I hear your voice and then you help me to my feet
And it's alright

Punching the card in 9 -5
Doing what I can just to get by
If not for you then I would
Surely go insane but when I
Hear your footsteps crossing the floor
I know if I can't weather the storm
You'll take my hand and dance
Together in the rain and now there's

Those autumn leaves litter the ground
I hear them crumple as I walk these empty streets
And when I think I'm going down
I hear your voice and then you help me to my feet
And it's alright
